Barging In....

It was the annual raft race at my canal today. (I say 'my' canal, because in my mind, I own it, even if British Waterways don't quite see it that way.)

Unfortunately I missed the race itself - well, when you've seen one student (usually dressed as Harry Potter) up to his oxters in stagnant water, trying to pick the leeches off his wand, you've seen 'em all - but I did enjoy seeing some barges coming through my lift bridge.

I am now going to watch (through my fingers) Andy Murray's great victory over Baghdatis. Or Baghdatis' great victory over Andy Murray. (To be deleted as applicable after the event......)
