Pumpkin Pies

It's the town's Christmas Lantern Parade, light switch on and Fireworks & Festival. We go every year without fail...until Christmas 2015.

It was spitting when we left the house but by the time we had reached Prison Bridge it was blowing a gale. I feel bad because a lot of people put a lot of effort into this event but we aboout turned and fought against the wind to get home!

Earlier, I put some of this year's pumpkin crop to good use and made a couple of pies. (Ready made pastry cases) If they are good, I might make some more for the freezer.

Two weeks today and child number 3 will be home!
