A well engineered Christmas tree.
They were setting up the trees for the tree festival, which is held in Nolton Church every year. A local garage always enter a tree made up of car parts. The photo really doesn't do it justice, but what an ingenious idea this was. A small electrical motor, drives the cam belt, which turns the cam shaft in the cylinder head, which opens and closes the valves. These are connected to the windscreen wiper arms and blades, and on the end of these are small Christmas lights. When switched on, the engine parts move, and in turn the wiper blades move up and down.
The centre of the tree is a section of exhaust pipe attached to a manifold.
