Plumbing Challenge

Electricty crisis has now been resolved but this has been replaced with a rather less dramatic plumbing challenge. Last Friday we discoverd a leak from the cistern main feed in the downstairs WC. Mr Dynorod turned up to resolve. BUT sadly discovered that both the stopcock under the sink and the one in the front garden were"seized". So he coundn't sort it out until the garden stopcock was replaced. And so he departed. On Saturday East Surrey Water turned up (after sorting out a burst water main on the A25) and replaced the outside stopcock. We then left the water turned off while we went to Cronwall. This morning Mr Dynorod Mark 2 turned up to sort out the inside problems. Sadly following inspection he said he hadn't got time to do either job and will be coming back next Tuesday.........
