Brew pub

Today was a strange day. To start with, I went to my lecturer to ask some questions about the stats for my deadline on Tuesday. He instantly said how ill I was looking and gave me a month's extension. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not - on one hand I am getting very stressed about it and my stomach is acting up at the moment but, on the other, I really don't want to be looking that bad! 

I then stopped off and bought a cake for Emily as I knew that she was in an important meeting and would need some happiness afterwards. She did - she's deferring this semester as she just hasn't been able to keep up with the work. This means that the earliest she can graduate is next Christmas. She's hoping to be back next semester though - hopefully biology will agree and will let her do her last year the wrong way around (second semester before first). 

Hugo then came over to the house to cheer us both up and invited us out to the brew pub for drinks - Jon Wyles who graduated this summer is up for a long weekend and wanted to go out with us. We stayed there for a couple of hours (which was wonderful and relaxing) before having a lovely dinner at Patrick and Annie's house (thanks!). Everyone else is now still out drinking but I had to come home due to stomach pains :( hopefully this will get sorted out soon!!
