Not bad for a bad day

Haven't had a very good day today, we had planned to look around the shops in Harlow then walk down the river and get some pictures with Pete's new lens that was supposedly being delivered today, but instead spent the day indoors until 6 o clock only for it not to turn up! I'm not a happy bunny, Pete is taking it in his stride though. I wouldn't hVe minded if it had been my short weekend from work but it's my long one and I've wasted a day of it :0/ anyway we got out in the end and tried to spot the green woodpecker but it flew away! Oh well quite happy with the shot of the deer :)
