Staying true to our 7+ year tradition, we headed down to Seattle today for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Westlake Center.  Despite the annoyance of the protesters that I don't want to give any attention to at all, we had a fun time today walking around downtown Seattle, all decorated for the holidays.  Our visit to Santa was the other "fail" of the day as Pacific Place has gone with a new Santa company and 'Santa Doug' who we've seen for the last 3 years was not there.  I'm now starting to entertain the idea of becoming one of "those moms" that will drive wherever to get the same Santa every year.  Yeah, Doug was that good and this new company and our experience was that bad.  All in all, a fun day with the family to kick off the holidays!  More. . .
