Auckland War Memorial/Museum

The building is part war memorial and part museum. The cenotaph outside  is almost an exact replica of the one in Whitehall. But the UK designers were going to charge too much money to the New Zealanders, so they copied the design from watching news reels. Hardly shows us Brits in a good light I feel.
