Down by the River

Jan and I spent the day at Hola Folkhögskolan (Hola Community College?) Jan was leading a “teaching language” workshop for volunteers who are teaching Swedish to newly arrived refugees. I was along for the ride.
The school is right next to the Ångerman River and in the afternoon I took a walk down to the water with M, one of the teachers. It was 3 o’clock and the sun had set a bit earlier and the clouds that had dulled down the whole day were suddenly lighting up the early evening.
The dark object in the water is a small icefloe - there were several slowly drifting down the river. The bridge carries the new Bothnia Railway over the river.
