Ups and downs

It was some serious ups and downs that brought me a major down during today's MOT.

Earlier this year Fenner and I stayed at the wonderful Swallow Barn on the La Rosa campsite near Scarborough. The track down to the campsite is gnarly enough to be classed as 'off roading' and I hated every moment my little 500 had to tackle it.

So it should have been no surprise to me to learn my rear shock absorbers needed replacing. There were tears and lot of price haggling.

Considerably lighter in pocket, Fenner and I took the kids out for pizza and a film later in the evening. Watching F gradually unwind over the evening after a rather stressful week was certainly the up of the day.
