Family time

It was a busy day today, well it will be a busy weekend. It was my Mum's 74th Birthday yesterday, and today my brother and his family came to the island, to visit for the day, with all the boyfriends, there were 7 of them in total, so it was a fairly big gathering. We decided to go to the Dairyman's Daughter in Arreton for lunch, as it is in the middle of Arreton Craft Village so there was something for everyone to enjoy. Whilst I walked Daisy, some went and watched the glass blowing, others explored the unusual shops. 

This blip is from the pub (dairyman's daughter), which is full of old advertising signs. The christmas decorations were suitable too, as we also swapped Christmas presents over. (My brother lives in East Sussex and is going abroad for Christmas).

My parents are understandable tired from the day, but happy, Mum is napping on the sofa. She still has her chest infection, which is a worry, but has been to the doctors a few times. 

Tomorrow my sister is visiting from Surrey, well she's travelling over this evening and meeting my other sister (they are twins) for dinner. We're all meeting in Cowes for a nice Sunday Roast at a favourite hotel. When I took Chrissel there, she felt like a queen ;) hopefully my Mum will feel the same.
