The End !

An eyesore, or you could say,  a much loved building full of memories - in the village is being demolished. It depends how old you are and how long you have lived here!
The Regal cinema was built in the Art Deco Style in 1937 it had just 501 seats and was well patronised during the heyday of cinema. Unfortunately, like so many cinemas it closed in 1981 and became a bingo hall then a community centre, used by various organisations including a pre-school and a church before eventually closing in 2013.
It will soon be gone completely and replaced by housing.
