Project Photo 4 - The Year of the Horse is Over

The Horse will return in 12 years, but for now the Year of the Horse is over. A child born in the Year of the Horse is considered one of the luckiest. Little Annie, born in the Year of the Horse, is already very lucky with two wonderful parents and family that loves her both in China and in Canada.

As many prospective parents wanted their children to be Horses and not Sheep, there was a mini baby boom in China last year, despite government advertising aimed at debunking the myth of the Sheep. Some found it hard to find doctors and hospitals that had capacity for new mothers and babies. Hmmm. Maybe Sheep will be the lucky ones this year after all with the new two-child policy and a more relaxed system
