Casting On

I've had this silk for ages, and it cost a small fortune, but it is so thin (laceweight) that I have never got very far with it. So I am starting another project, this time doubling up, so hopefully I will get somewhere this time. A cowl, I think.

I have done nothing else today. Amelia went to Starbucks with a friend, Ben went to see Brighton beat Birmingham and Marc and I sat in the living room in front of a fire and enjoyed the peace.
