Climate change march

All adult ages at the march today, many accompanied by their children.

As we walked, my friend and i discussed the effectiveness of such displays. Neither of us could remember a walk that had the political result we wanted unless, perhaps, there was some debt reduction after the Make Poverty History march. I can remember the anti-nuclear gathering at Torness - that didn't end well, then.

Can anyone recall one? We aren't counting the demos aimed at the most local level of government where the councillors and officials might be your neighbours.
