Compare and Contrast

Not a very pleasant day - cold and dull start, then turning wet and windy. I've been on duty at Longshaw, and there were a surprising number of people out and about.
The feeders in front of the cafe are a big attraction for visitors and birds alike. Today's highlight was a Brambling amongst the Chaffinches. At a superficial level they look quite similar, but although this isn't the best shot, it does show the differences quite well, the Brambling being the one at the back.
