Back at the doctors surgery.

Mr F has been hobbling around without too much complaint this week, until last night when he had a relapse. His leg swelled up, some impressive bruises came out, and it was too painful to put his foot to the floor.
The doctor was very concerned and has diagnosed fluid collecting in the ankle joint. The treatment apparently involves lying on the sofa for a few days, with his leg up, watching tv. Oh and my responsibilities are to dispense stronger painkillers, plenty of cups of tea when required, and ice in a bag fetched every so often and arranged over the ankle.
He seems a bit better this evening!
