Cyclops Again

On 17th May 2013, An over-defensive swan attacked this greylag goose causing it actual bodily harm and permanent disfigurement. To put it simply, it lost its left eye.

It survived its ordeal but no longer migrates with its fellows, often remaining as the only goose around the pond. Fortunately many people visit each day with bread (for the ducks) which seems to keep it going and I supplement that with wheat grain from time to time.

I was up there today in lousy weather with a bag of mixed birdseed for it. Took a few lousy photos as well while I was there and in the absence of anything better, I am posting another blip of 'Cyclops' - after all. it was Feb 6th when I last blipped him.
