An Annual Pilgrimage

We went over to Dana's house this morning to say good bye to the Los Angeles contingent.
Many pillows, bags suitcases and even the hideous  lovely white elephant flower  lamp thingy were stuffed into the back of the car.
Several of us were in our pajamas.
Blake was in his kennel.
Jim and Peter came home from Indiana at 1am.
They greeted Matt and Amy and the girls in passing.
Matt still goes to 'our' Berkeley Peet's on the way home.

Some people cut a Christmas tree on the weekend after Thanksgiving.
We go to Powell's old fashioned candy store.
The kids chose candy. 
Pop watches the continuous loop of Willy Wonka.

Daddy pays….
They will be back in a couple of weeks to decorate gingerbread houses.
