Gratitude

I am thankful for so very much in my life.
Funny how so many holiday dinners over the years I drove myself crazy with trying to make everything "right."
I think I associated caring with a perfect dinner.
Today the turkey was great but the pie was not. It didn't matter- I broke out the cookies. :)
We took a hike after dinner- cold and windy- it made me feel alive.
It was a wonderful celebration - the first holiday at the cabin.
