Purple is for Advent

Moving into my own parish has revealed some gaps in my liturgical clothing. How's that for an admission?

I needed a purple stole and started making one on Friday evening, and competed it in the early hours of Sunday.
Talk about a just in time delivery.

A friend, who was our guest preacher today, blessed it for me in a moving and private moment.
