The 50 yr olds!

Our very dear friends from Dubai, Alison and Dave are visiting Hong Kong for a few days on their way to Australia.

It's been wonderful spending time with them again and makes us realise just how much we miss them. Its been 10 yrs since we left Dubai, and I get to see them every year when I'm there, but it's been a while for Martin.

He took them hiking today in DB, then back to ours for showers and lunch and a celebration! All three of them turned 50 this year, starting with Martin and lastly Dave. So I made a cake to celebrate as we missed their big milestones.

Later in the evening, Roberto and Elizabeth had a very special thanksgiving dinner in the playground downstairs. A beautiful setting with some lovely friends.
