A nod to the company's automotive past at the Rolls-Royce Learning and Development Centre in Derby.

Rolls-Royce hosted an EngD conference, and I represented the Association of Engineering Doctorates.

Derby feels a bit like Crewe - all railway and Rolls-Royce (though, of course, Royce's is now Bentley Motors).
