Visit to a mini tropic

After baking some plum pastries for the first advent in the morning, I visited a very special place today!

A mini tropic area indoors with penches and paths. The Gardenia

Unfortunately the unprofitable "Gardenia" will be closed by Helsinki city until the end of 2015, and actually is open for public only tomorrow.

So I and teens drove to Helsinki this afternoon and visited the Gardenia, enjoyed it's warm humidity green world and soft light in the middle of finnish grey november.

And we had nice dinner before we escorted my daughter to her shared flat. I am so so so pround of me as I drove all the way to Helsinki and back (in rain and dark motorway) - and as I also drove around in Helsinki! I used our Garmini navigator, otherwise the task would have been maybe too much for me . In Helsinki there is 3-4 lanes in each direction. A lot of traffic too. And the directions are hard to me, not to speak about dark motorways in rain (as on our way back).
