Conference

For the first time in my lift I packed quickly and lightly for my few days away for a work conference. In the hours before I had to leave, I had a lovely walk with Mum and G, and a hangover-curing huge roast. We had planned on going and buying a new mattress, but found out the shop had moved, so wasted much longer than was enjoyable in the asda café. Then I was off to Birmingham; I was so glad to finally arrive at the hotel in time for some Sunday night tv.
