Knowing your place on the food chain

Lilli loves watching nature documentaries. She chases all the birds and the scurrying, little mammals across the screen. 

I don't think that she quite appreciates what a dragon is. 

Smaug giving her the eye hasn't scared her away. One day she'll learn to cower behind the sofa like I do when he wakes up. It might be because I know he sounds like Benedict Cumberbatch when he talks, but mostly it's 'cos he's a mean dude.
