Beach life
Seventeen hours after leaving home we finally arrived at the 'Family Kingdom Resort' in Freetown just before 9:00 this morning. It was a journey that took in two excellent Royal AIr Maroc flights, two cars from the airport to the hotel (the first of which broke down) and numerous temperature check road blocks and anti-bacterial gel encounters. After a couple of hours catch up sleep and a two hour planning meeting I went for a quick wander outside the hotel. The beach is just over the road and was full of locals enjoying a Sunday afternoon in the sun. There is a real hustle and bustle about Freetown, which we have heard is just beginning to return following the Ebola crisis.
