So much owed
Mum an I are in Switzerland to visit family as my dad's elder brother died just before Easter and we couldn't make it over for the funeral. So today we came with his wife to see where he is in the Cimetière Saint-Martin.
I've been to this church before for happier times, but it was sad today obviously, because we were there for my uncle, and were thinking of my dad too. But it really is the most beautiful cemetery. Fabulous views, fabulous trees, fabulous setting, and so well kept.
The photo is of an area in the middle of the cemetery where 88 British and Commonwealth soldiers were buried during the First World War. As you can imagine they were all young men.
