best band award

this was the best band, according to Shish - she loved them. Luckily she has a big sister to sit on so she can see the stage.

As for me, I have had the "festival with children" experience, which is, of course, totally different to when you go as just a person on your own and hang out with friends etc.

Just before we left, as the children were flaking out, I was watching the Toten Hosen who were playing a Rammstein song and I thought "I'd love a cuppa cha right now". And then I thought "I think I'm turning into Granny Weatherwax" and felt quite happy about it all instead of feeling alarmed about being ancient.

We're going back for more tomorrow :-)
