Birthday ermmmm... quiche

Don't worry, there was birthday cake too, but Sam had made her a quiche so they brought that out instead of the cake in the restaurant.

Mads turned nineteen today. While it's scary to think how fast time has gone by since she was born particularly given that this time next year she'll not be a teenager any more, Roz and I are constantly delighted with what a bright, polite and thoughtful young woman she's turned into... in spite of having us for parents.
