Olives

An olive tree is beautiful in the landscape, bears wonderful fruit, and is built of sturdy and attractive wood, making it a star among its peers.  Some olive branches I collected to decorate my Thanksgiving holiday dinner table.  In such troubled times, I thought they'd not only bring a little beauty inside, but also remind us all to be thankful for our good fortunes and offer a wish for peace in this world.
