Hipsters

Today is my birthday! To celebrate, my trooms and I went to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where we ate some grub at the food market Smorgasburg, checked out some art at Black and White, and shopped at thrift stores. We then headed to Bubba Gump Shrimp in Times Square, where we ended the night with a riot of a happy birthday song.

This photograph is from one of several street vendors who sell clothing and jewelry near Bedford Avenue. A second after I snapped this, a moderately upset elderly man asked me to not take pictures.
