Surf Skipping
Had a great wander down to the beach. These little things were scuttling in and out of the surf in a dash to grab some grubs in the sand before they were swamped by the next wave.
I think it might be a sanderling. Apparently they are just visitors and fly to the Arctic to breed.
Fantastic fresh air, crashing waves and a crisp clear sky. What more can you ask for on an autumn Sunday?
