Cloudburst

Arrived at Wooler Common just as the heavens opened! It looked as though the rain had set in, and Louie was desperate for his morning walk, so off we went through the trees hoping that they'd provide a little shelter. But we got SOAKED! Back at the car and the rain stopped, so we walked around the path too. The wind was so strong and gusty that it dried us off nicely!

Andrea came over in the late afternoon. A short walk (it was beginning to get dark), couple of drinks at the local pub and back to the flat for some delicious venison stew waiting in the slow cooker. Nice way to spend a wintry Sunday afternoon!
