A true lifesaver
I took a walk out to Cape Banks early this morning - half hoping to see a whale or two (having been lucky last whale season), but no such luck today. It was cold, overcast, with a small swell running. For some reason I like going out there. I've managed a few decent shots over time, but in reality, it ain't exactly the most photogenic of places. If the swell is big, THEN, it can be an interesting place, and dangerous - and so today's blip.
There's a few of these 'lifesaver' stations around the cliffs. Very sobering sights, especially when you've seen this place in huge swells. Here's hoping they never have to be used, except for a photo.
