Our Souls at Night

In the picture is the first book I bought by Kent Haruf many years ago when we first visited The States.I have been a fan ever since.Just finished his last novel "Our Souls At Night" published posthumously.A truly beautiful book.Last night checked out 540 books in Kindle store all of which just looked like cliched nonsense.
I like books about life and people with a story.Not interested in violence,murder mystery,war or horror.Life is frightening enough.So it narows down my choice.

Delivering out today in terrible weather.The diversion around the Mersey Link is terrible and added well over an hour to my journey.
