Pie-eyed

The first office mince pies of the season were spotted today. (They look a bit of a strange colour as they are in a brown paper bag, and I took the photo inside the bag!)
I was very, very good and wrapped mine up in cling-film and brought it home as a present for C. I was later told by those who ate them there and then, that they are some of the tastiest mince pies ever. However, I know for certain that none of those people has ever been to a Christmas coffee morning organised by the ladies of our village (who almost certainly use a WI recipe to boot!)
