'Decomposing Leaf'
Another very cold and wet day today.
We were going to visit TarraWarra today to see the Archibald Prize finalists, but Bella has a bit of a cold / cough and thought it was best to stay home and let her recover. The exhibiton continues through next weekend, so we'll plan to visit after swimming next Satuday.
This is a leaf I found out in the back paddock while going for a walk with Mrs Rosewarnes cousin a few weeks ago. We've had it stuck on the fridge ever since that visit and thought today would be an indoors blip.
Got out the tungsten light, hung the leaf on a piece of string from a chopstick, tripod out and bingo. Lots of different angles tried, with shadow, without shadow, I consulted my visual adviser and decided on this one.
Looks good LARGE too.
