Grand Canyon

We spent the morning travelling to the Grand Canyon which seemed to take an age. Spent most of the journey reading as the scenery was all desert.

When we entered the Grand Canyon, we headed straight to the helicopter tours. Because we're both light, we got to sit at the front of the helicopter which made it that little bit even better. We had star wars music going as we took off and the pilot dipped the chopter as we went over the edge of the canyon, so everyone screamed a little. I will now forever associate Train's drops of Jupiter with the beauty that is the grand canyon.

After the helicopter ride, we got to spend a little time walking the grand canyon itself. So off we headed into the grand canyon armed with ice cream and my selfie stick! We literally took hundreds of photos, the scenery is breathtaking.

We spent the night in a little town called Williams which is incredible. Dinner was amazing, the portions were that big we both got doggy bags for breakfast. We headed to a bar to play some pool and have a few drinks. The next thing I know, I'm singing Carrie Underwood on the Kareoke machine. It's reaffirmed that I would never be able to do UK Kareoke, my rendition of Before He Cheats was very well received in the US.
