Most primary rock food stuffs represented .... and as normally happened when I was on a field trip the heavens opened !!!

Ruth asked me why I had taken the ammonite out and when I suggested that it had survived a few million years in the ground, and so bit of rain would be a breeze, I was informed it had become used to soft living and I was to bring it in immediately !


........... sometimes one could wish for the rainswept hills of a field trip ;-)
