Indian Roller

A bird that is very common in all the green areas around Muscat, but rarely hangs around for a portrait photograph. This bird is in perfect condition and was displaying to a female up on the very ornate lamps of Qurum park.
A really gorgeous bird and it's nice to be able to show a side view of it and it's turquoise and beige plumage, with that hint of royal blue, that you see alot more of on its open wings.
