The moon gazer

A yellow tailed black cockatoo , endemic to SE Australia in the banksia tree by the campsite . Amazing that they can live up to 50 years ..

According to popular belief the number seen on the day reflects the number of ensuing wet days . Not quite today , blue skies and 30 degrees C , good forecast for the next few days and we saw a flock of 5 !
