Advent

This is our family "heirloom" advent calendar. My mum and I made it over 20 years ago. I did all the cross stitch sewing for the pockets, including the work in all the little frames inside and she made the backing and stitched on all the pockets. It was a lot of work at the time, but this is something to treasure for years to come. We used to hang it up on a rail, but rather than put the rail up this year, I've just cheated a bit. Looks oK though.
