Lake Alexandrina

So, we arrived in Tekapo late last night and put the mother tent up (badly) in the dark. It stayed put over night so all good.

Today we mooched around the village in the morning, had some lunch and, after a wee relax out of the sun, we headed off to Lake Alex for a kayak. What a beautiful spot! Our kayaks are a bit more technical than this one but it was neat to see boats around with no fear of them being nicked. Like going back in time.

Back to the YHA for a simple tea then an early night.
