Florists

The florist shop on Sincil Street in town is always eye-catching. This time of year though it really outdoes itself with the beautiful door wreaths and displays. I love the wreaths especially but they'd be wasted on our door, it being down a passage! 

Today I wrote my parents' Christmas cards for them. They have a novel way of recording who to send cards to: Keep the cards from last year and use them as a guide!

Last year I was a bit disappointed to get back way less than I sent out, so if that happens again I may follow their example! I know a lot of people don't bother now, maybe for environmental reasons or maybe because they can't be arsed or are too stingey!
