He's home!
No, not daddy - that's tomorrow...
Mr Crazylegs, our lovable cheeky elf has returned with his friend Ginger.
Dylan almost fell down the stairs in his excitement at spotting the advent calendar - it then twigged that Mr C would be around here somewhere. Lily told him he was in the bedroom so they legged it upstairs when shrieks, hugs and kisses abounded <3 So lovely!
He's brought them all some elf PJs and advent books. One new story each night to be opened and read at bedtime. Auntie Angie sent some cookie making kits too so we'll do those at the weekend when I've bought some ingredients.
Let the fun begin!
This year he's having a wash. Probably due one at 5 years old :)
Oh, was Dylan's parents evening tonight. Glowing report from his teacher, he's doing really well. She says he's a joy to have in the classroom, such a lovely well mannered, well behaved little boy. Gutted to learn he's losing his 5th teacher at Christmas though. That's 5 teachers he's had in just 4 terms. Not good. She very nearly in tears telling me she had to go (recent bereavement). I've requested that they get to keep the next one for an extra year to make up for it. Trouble isn't that they're not good - he loves them all, it's just unsettling for them to have people keep leaving, and always from their class. Fingers crossed the next one is just as lovely but actually hangs around for a while!
