Standard view

You cannot in truth come to the Badia without taking the view of the city. This one was taken from a terrace which I hadn't been on before. A rather superior angle I thought. And luckily I had the proper camera with me, although not with fat lens.

The second day of the conference went well. A second keynote - not quite as interesting as the first. But the standard of the papers was on the whole high. However, a colleague pointed out at the end how few women there were sitting around the table and how little they had spoken. I hadn't noticed during the conference, though.
