Let the madness begin!

Lottie has been so excited for today - to start opening her advent calendar and train, and to put the tree up. We normally try to leave it until the first weekend in December, or at least an evening when we are all in, to do them as a family. With hubby's shifts and a weekend away this weekend coming that isn't going to happen this year which is a shame, but we promised that Charlotte could at least get her tree up in her bedroom tonight with me.

She did most of it herself once I had got the lights on it - the tree has grown along with her. The first one she had was a little pink one that was only about two feet high and the first year she decorated it it was bigger than her. Now she has a five foot white one!

So one tree up, one to go and the rest of the grotto to decorate at some point! Happy December everybody x
