Thou Shalt Not Pass

L and brother in law Mike stand ready to repel all who would pass the path by the meadows on the outskirts of Sutton Coldfield.  Had a pleasant walk for an hour on arriving in the UK - the weather was 15 degrees warmer than Texas and it wasn't raining - there were even shadows in December!  Additional photo of a proud heron standing guard over his space in the stream - tiredness overtaking us after 36 hours without much sleep.....
