Frosty Cornfield Sunset

Nearly the polar opposite of yesterday's beach blip, this was the scene outside my home exactly one year ago today. While I wasn't exactly prepared for a Thanksgiving snowstorm at the time, the sunset sure does look pretty glistening across a snow-covered cornfield.

"November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.

The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring."
